YES!
There's plenty of SEO tips & tricks in every digital marketer's playbook if they're worth their SERP Salt.
But which ones really work and what techniques are a waste of time or outdated?
SEO FACT #1 - Everybody is right & Nobody is wrong....if it worked for them.
Everything you read or hear about SEO is generally true...or was at one time or another ....or in some instances ...or for somebody.
SEO doesn't discriminate against anyone's success.
If a technique, strategy or tactic acheives the desired results ...then it's valid.
That doesn't mean I want to, or should adopt the same technique, strategy or tactic because my circumstaces may be very different.
Yes, every successful SEO Specialist has their own secret formula or way of doing things, just like any other skilled profession.
There are bound to be SEO secrets because those are the things professionals keep to themselves until they're no longer secrets, duh.
I know I kept plenty of secrets to myself back in the Golden Era of SEO, when Google was the wild west for keyword ranking cowboys.
Almost all of those SEO Secrets are laughable today.
But back then, they were literal gold nuggets.
- The 1st SEO Ad Agency I worked at charged $600 per keyword per month but only if that specific keyword search was #1 in Google.
- And that's for every word. So if your keyword phrase you want to rank for is "Best Restaurant NYC" then it cost $1800 per month to hire that agency to rank you in Google for just that search.
- Which by today's intensely competitive and crowded competion standards isn't a lot of money, but that's just one phrase.
- To really dominate an industry you need, at the very least the top 5 phrases....now your real cost just increased significantly.
